Job summary

Lumileds Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support engineering development and manufacturing through robust reliability strategies. You will design stress conditions, develop stress plans, and generate reports that guide design decisions and on-time product releases.

Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of statistical analysis, failure analysis, and reliability testing.
• Knowledge of JEDEC and AEC standards
• Ability to analyse reliability data using JMP, Minitab.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply reliability knowledge to design stress conditions for new products and design changes.
• Write reliability stress plans for evaluations, verifications, and qualifications.
• Write reliability reports sharing data analysis results and observations to guide decisions.
• Follow reliability engineering best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Create customer facing reports aligned with development quality and product marketing.
• Mentor junior engineers on reliability best practices.
