Job summary

Lumileds Malaysia, Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician III to join our team. You will ensure equipment and processes stay healthy and perform routine monitoring, setup, and calibration to maintain performance.

Responsibilities include machine repair, SPC monitoring, and reliability improvements, with emphasis on Excel/PowerPoint reporting and safety compliance. 3–5 years experience and a Diploma in Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering fields.
• Equipment troubleshooting skills will be an added advantage.
• Field of Study: Mechanical, Electrical, & Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Process Monitoring/ Setup/Buyoff/Low Yield Lot disposition e.g. calibration, set-up, initialization, machine conversion in specific areas.
• Perform minor machine repair and verify functionality of modules.
• SPC process control and monitoring.
• Optimizes equipment reliability and performance to original levels.
• Soft skill development – Microsoft Excel / Powerpoint, Presentation skill, FBPS, Technical report writing etc.
• Perform machine trouble shooting and prevention while process issue related to 5M1E.
• Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
