Job summary

Lumileds Malaysia is seeking a Senior Technical Project Lead to drive development life cycle for automotive and non- automotive LED products. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage early concept to product release, and collaborate with worldwide R&D, product marketing and manufacturing teams to ensure robust launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Science with at least five years of engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing, LED preferred.
• Experience with Automotive product development processes (APQP).
• Hands-on experience with Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control, Process Flow, Control Plan and FMEA.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's Field of Study: Electrical/Electronics, Optoelectronics, Mechanical Engineering or Applied Sciences.
• Minimum experience: 5–7 years.

Responsibilities

• Define, plan and execute Product Development programs (Automotive/Non-Automotive) per BCP.
• Lead product development tasks from concept/prototyping through design, development and release (MPR).
• Support Worldwide R&D, TSM and Product Marketing in new/customized product roadmaps.
• Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and technicians to ensure timely product release.
• Ramp new products to high volume after release and stabilize yields.
• Apply manufacturing process development experience per Automotive standards.
• Ensure compliance with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
