Job summary

SMT Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Superintendent to supervise production lines and meet targets in a fast-paced EMS environment in Malaysia. The role requires at least 3 years in manufacturing/production, with SMT, soldering and assembly experience.

The successful candidate will drive daily quality and output, implement improvements, and work with cross-functional teams to achieve department goals in a safe, organized workplace.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/production.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing/production roles SMT, soldering and assembly.
• Senior Executive preferred in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production line and lead to meet 2Q.
• Ensure daily quality and production output target are achieved.
• Achieve weekly production schedules and department goals.
• Able to communicate and deliver department, management & company objectives.
• Continuously implementing quality, productivity and efficiency improvement.
• To train, educate and ensure support subordinates to carry out their work in compliance with production and management system.
• Good interpersonal skills between peers and other departments.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
