Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Supervisor for an EMS provider based in Johor, Malaysia. The role requires overseeing daily production operations, coordinating with department leads, and driving throughput and quality improvements on PCB assemblies.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years in EMS operations management, with strong SMT/THT knowledge, and excellent English communication. Mandarin is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position in Kulai, Johor.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance throughput, minimize costs, and improve overall product quality.
• Coordinate daily production operations to meet production schedules and objectives while collaborating with other department leads.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturing best practices and quality standards.
• Support the creation and maintenance of production documentation, ensuring compliance with quality procedures and customer requirements.
• Facilitate smooth transitions for new projects and products.
• Help set performance metrics (KPIs) for the department that align with company goals.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in operations management within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.
• In-depth knowledge of SMT (Surface-Mount Technology), THT (Through-Hole Technology), and other PCB assembly processes, with experience in manufacturing complex electronic assemblies.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive forward quality initiatives in a dynamic business environment.
• A hands-on and proactive approach to managing end-to-end production operations.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal); proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Proven experience in SMT (PCBA) manufacturing is essential.
