Wawasan Agrolipids Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Engineer to lead a team of supervisors, operators and general workers to ensure smooth daily plant operations across shifts.

The role involves enforcing SOPs for GMP-compliant processes, analyzing root causes, implementing corrective actions, coordinating with Planning, Maintenance, QA, Operation, Purchasing and Safety, and driving continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Manufacturing or related).
• 1–2 years in chemical/oil/fat or palm oil processing is an advantage; fresh grads welcome.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure with high responsibility.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a team of supervisors, operators, and general workers to ensure smooth daily plant operations across shifts.
• Oversee all aspects of worker management including safety, health, performance, and attendance.
• Review and enforce SOPs for GMP-compliant processes across plant operations.
• Analyze and troubleshoot process-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Planning, Maintenance, QA, Operation, Purchasing, Safety) to meet production schedules and drive improvements.
• Optimize production processes and minimize waste to achieve cost savings.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure 5S workplace organization practices.
• Verify and maintain accurate manufacturing documents and operational reports.
• Participate in monthly stock takes and prepare inventory reports for Finance.
• Coordinate worker duty rosters and submit overtime records for payroll processing.
