Gamalux Oils in Malaysia seeks a Senior Site Process/Production Engineer to drive process control, productivity and safety across the plant. You will monitor performance data, optimise operations and lead root-cause investigations for measurable gains.

Responsibilities include documenting SOPs, daily production reporting, cost control for utilities and materials, manpower optimisation and cross-department coordination to minimise downtime and boost reliability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process/Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–7 years of plant operations experience.
• Certification advantageous.
• Knowledge of safety and process compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Document the complete plant process flow, operating parameters and process requirements.
• Establish and maintain SOPs, process records and technical documentation.
• Monitor operating conditions and ensure processes are within approved limits.
• Identify process deviations, investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain daily production reports including output, yield and downtime.
• Monitor production targets and investigate variances; identify bottlenecks.
• Analyse utility consumption per MT and cost per MT; recommend cost-saving measures.
• Assess manpower against workload and conduct audits to optimise deployment.
• Lead process improvements, automation opportunities and project evaluations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance and Projects to minimise disruptions.
