Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Penang is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer, Software to drive OpenBMC platform management for high-performance networking and compute platforms.

You will lead a team across hardware, manufacturing and customer teams to deliver robust remote management, telemetry and firmware update capabilities. The role requires deep embedded Linux expertise, strong programming in C/C++, and hands-on experience with OpenBMC, Yocto, U-Boot and Redfish interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 to 12 years of engineering experience.
• Strong background in OpenBMC and Linux platform management is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and implementation of OpenBMC-based platform management solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers and collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams.
• Own platform enablement on the Linux Foundation OpenBMC stack, including Yocto meta-layers, U-Boot and kernel porting.
• Develop and maintain remote management interfaces with Redfish as the primary API.
