Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer, Software to lead BIOS/system firmware development for networking platforms.

You will own firmware initialization, platform boot behavior, and security features across UEFI and coreboot/LinuxBoot stacks, driving at-scale data center readiness. The role requires strong C/C++ skills, knowledge of hardware bring-up, and collaboration with silicon vendors, IBVs, ODMs, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in BIOS/system firmware development on UEFI or coreboot/LinuxBoot.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ with scripting in Python/shell.
• Experience implementing platform security features (TPM/TXT/Secure Boot/Boot Guard).
• Familiarity with hardware RAS and error handling (AEPi, PCIe AER, SEL).

Responsibilities

• Lead BIOS/system firmware design, development and implementation.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers.
• Review customer BIOS requirements and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Maintain BIOS codebase across silicon vendor/IBV releases and platforms.
