Job summary

Celestica, Inc. is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer, Software in Penang, Malaysia, to drive BSP and firmware development for high-performance networking switch platforms.

You will lead the design and integration of low-level device drivers and customize boot code, while coordinating with hardware and manufacturing teams for board bring-up. You will provide technical leadership, review customer requirements, and ensure high-quality deliverables across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead BSP and firmware design, development, and implementation and participate in planning.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers; may be a go-to expert in BSP or related areas.
• Review customer requirements, design firmware, and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Lead deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.
• Develop, test and integrate Linux device drivers for networking platform devices, and customize BSP/boot code.
• Collaborate with hardware/manufacturing for board bring-up and product qualification.
