Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior OpenBMC engineer in Penang, Malaysia. You will develop and customize embedded management OpenBMC for various products (Server/Switch/Storage) and deliver high-quality software packages for customers.

Responsibilities include tracking and solving issues, collaborating with customers, and designing BMC-related requirements across products. Strong C/C++, Linux, and IPMI/Redfish experience are required.

Qualifications

• Embedded Linux or BMC development experience.
• Understanding of Linux device drivers, file systems and memory management.
• Familiar with IPMI, Redfish, I2C, UART, SPI, GPIO, PCIe/PCI and Power Management.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and locate issues encountered.
• Collaborate with front-end, customers, and market to deploy BMC requirements.
• Coordinate cross-site debugging and feature development on products.
• Design, develop and release BMC firmware packages for products.
• Communicate design with customers/vendors.
