Celestica Lead Engineer, Mechanical Design in Penang develops new mechanical systems and maintains existing designs. You research concepts and create solutions using 3D modeling and simulation tools, performing calculations, testing, validation and qualification as needed.

You support manufacturing throughout the lifecycle of your design. You collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, customers, supply chain and project leadership to ensure robust products.

Formación

• Bachelor degree or equivalent plus relevant experience.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience in mechanical design.
• Proficient in designing and analyzing mechanical systems and components.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and implement technical solutions in multiple areas.
• Lead smaller projects and coordinate with other engineers and reviews.
• Prepare calculations and create technical drawings for proposed solutions.
• Design and modify systems meeting customer and Celestica needs.
• Submit drawings for review and support manufacturing during production.
