Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory leadership role in manufacturing or logistics.
• Knowledge of production planning, scheduling and quality control.
• Strong leadership, team management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor production output, quality standards and efficiency metrics to meet targets and customer requirements.
• Implement and maintain workplace safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Train, mentor and develop production staff on best practices, machinery operation and quality control.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing and implementing improvements to enhance performance.
• Manage inventory and material flow to optimise production processes and minimise waste.
• Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance to ensure peak performance.
• Communicate production updates, challenges and performance reports to management and relevant departments.
• Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes accountability and continuous improvement.
