Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment operation.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure.
• Proficiency in production planning, scheduling and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities on the floor to meet targets and quality standards.
• Train and develop production team members to improve skills and performance.
• Monitor schedules and equipment utilisation to optimise output and minimise downtime.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols in line with regulations.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and KPIs.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality assurance and planning for smooth operations.
• Address staff concerns and maintain team morale.
• Respond to production issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
