Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities at our Penang site. You will ensure schedules are met, orders are assembled correctly and on time, and products meet quality standards.

Lead operators, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering/Manufacturing, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and proven supervisory capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in production or manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is mandatory.
• Experience with production planning, assembly operations, and quality control.
• Strong communication skills in English and Malay; Chinese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily and weekly production plans established by the Production Manager.
• Lead and supervise production operators and assembly personnel.
• Coordinate manpower and resources to meet production targets.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all customer orders.
• Monitor production progress and adjust priorities where needed.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, and workforce performance against targets.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping standards on the production floor.
• Enforce adequate production process procedures.
• Implement improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Optimize assembly methods and workflow arrangements.
• Escalate material shortages, equipment issues, quality concerns, and delivery risks.
• Maintain accurate production records and reporting documentation.
