Celestica in Senai, Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Lead Engineer to develop and source manufacturing equipment to support production goals. You will lead equipment design, qualification, deployment and performance improvements while maintaining a safe work environment.

The role involves planning hardware/software upgrades on automated lines, analyzing OEE data, and managing validation activities (FAT/SAT).

Formación

• 1 to 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in similar job roles.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development, procurement and implementation of off the shelf standard solutions and/or develop new standard automation solutions to support customer product manufacturing equipment needs.
• Plan and lead hardware and software improvements of automated lines and off the shelf equipment, analyzing OEE and data; coordinate with solution providers for design, info, and specs.
• Lead and solve complex technical problems and drive equipment validation activities such as FAT and SAT.
• Develop maintenance plans and oversee activities to achieve target performance; own performance, maintenance, and OEE improvements for multiple machines within a value stream.
• Support customer product road maps using Celestica Automation E2E process and tools (URS, DFAA, PM workbook).
• Drive problem solving and corrective actions for machine failures, speed loss or quality issues.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to ensure equipment meets product manufacturing requirements.

Educación

Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
