Zusammenfassung

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in Malaysia to lead the design of primary substation systems for transmission projects up to 800kV. You will prepare SLDs and layouts, perform fault analysis, and coordinate with civil teams for foundations and structures while developing equipment specs and BOMs.

The role requires extensive experience in grid substation design, GIS/AIS configurations, and protection systems, with strong communication skills and international standards

Qualifikationen

• Master of Engineering in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Design primary substation systems up to 800kV (AIS/GIS configurations).
• Prepare SLDs, GA layouts, equipment sizing and layouts.
• Perform short-circuit calculations, fault current analysis and protection design.
• Coordinate with civil teams for foundations and structures.
• Develop BOMs and equipment specifications; support procurement.
• Review control and protection schemes and ensure grid operator compliance.
