Zusammenfassung

AECOM, a global infrastructure leader, is seeking a Principal OHL Engineer in Malaysia to lead and deliver highly technical overhead line design projects up to 400kV for transmission and distribution networks.

You will provide project technical support, coordinate across disciplines, perform PLS-CADD modelling, sag-tension calculations, and prepare design criteria and reports, while guiding junior engineers within a dynamic multinational team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical) essential.
• Experience delivering transmission projects for operators such as National Grid, SSE and SPT.
• Project experience in overhead line engineering (ideally up to 400kV).
• Chartered or Professional Engineer status (or working towards it) preferred.
• Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines and review detailed technical outputs to a high standard.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate design activities for overhead transmission lines up to 400kV.
• Provide technical support and input throughout project implementation and client engagements.
• Develop and review design criteria, sag-tension calculations, and tower/line routing.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and drawings packages; ensure internal quality checks.
