Job summary
Hitachi Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Design Engineer / Senior Engineer to join the Grid Automation team in Malaysia. You will design high‑voltage protection and control systems for substations, create and review engineering deliverables, and support testing and commissioning across regional projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in protection and control engineering for substations or power systems.
- Knowledge of high-voltage protection and control schemes and testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer high-voltage protection and control systems for substation projects.
- Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation and diagrams.
- Configure, test, troubleshoot, and support commissioning of protection relays and control systems.
- Produce engineering deliverables per customer specifications and Hitachi Energy standards.
- Support project teams by managing technical interfaces with customers and stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews and resolve engineering challenges.
- Contribute to continuous improvement via lessons learned and best practices.
- Support project execution with focus on quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
