Job summary

KPF Hotel Management Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for our property in the Kajang-Bangi-Serdang area of Selangor.

The role oversees all building maintenance, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, with a focus on safety, efficiency and guest satisfaction. You will lead maintenance staff, manage budgets, coordinate with contractors, and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend asset life.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance management experience in hospitality or similar facilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and hotel codes.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive issue resolution.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or Facilities Management preferred.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency maintenance situations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff, scheduling, training and performance management.
• Plan and oversee routine maintenance for building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural).
• Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and prioritise repairs.
• Manage maintenance budgets and procurement for materials/equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for major work.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Housekeeping for seamless operations.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives.
