Job summary

KPF Hotel Management Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager for a property in the Kajang-Bangi-Serdang area, Selangor. The role oversees building maintenance, mechanical systems, and facilities management to uphold cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

You will lead maintenance staff, plan programmes, coordinate with contractors, manage budgets, ensure compliance with codes, and drive energy efficiency. This is a full-time role in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance management, preferably in hospitality or hotel facilities.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• Proven leadership and ability to train and supervise maintenance staff.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to hotels.
• Experience with maintenance management software and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage maintenance staff, including scheduling and training.
• Plan routine maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
• Inspect facilities to identify issues and prioritise repairs.
• Manage budgets and procure materials for maintenance work.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Maintain maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Ensure building codes, safety regulations and health standards are met.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialised work.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules to extend asset life.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor energy use and implement sustainability measures.
