Job summary

Altera is seeking a highly experienced Member of Technical Staff (MTS) in Product Development Engineering based in Penang, Malaysia. The role focuses on developing and validating advanced test methodologies for FPGA products, with deep expertise in full‑chip test methods, on‑chip DFT, and silicon debug.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
• Experience in semiconductor product development, test engineering, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, verify and optimize full‑chip test methodologies including DFT strategies.
• Design and implement automated test equipment (ATE) programs.
• Lead first‑ silicon debug activities and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with design, software, manufacturing and product engineering teams.
• Drive test cost reductions and manufacturing efficiency improvements.
• Develop HMDT & UFP test modules and validate test programs on testers.
