Job summary

Xplor is seeking a Lead Engineer for Ezypay in Malaysia to lead a small but growing engineering team. You will design and develop distributed, highly transactional Java micro-services on AWS, ensure quality practices, and mentor engineers to deliver scalable payment solutions.

You will partner with the CTO and Product to drive growth, optimize the platform, and maintain high performance and security standards across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong CS fundamentals and algorithms.
• 7+ years in distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a growing engineering team.
• Design and maintain Java micro-services on AWS.
• Plan, develop, test, and document software.
• Collaborate with Product and CTO to align strategy.
• Improve product delivery and code quality.
• Remediate defects and optimize runtime systems.
