Job summary

Xplor Technologies is seeking a Lead Engineer for Ezypay in Kuala Lumpur to oversee distributed, highly transactional systems built as Java micro-services on AWS. You will mentor engineers, align with product and CTO, and drive quality and performance improvements for APAC growth.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, ensure scalable architectures, and uphold strong security and SDLC practices in a fast‑growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related IT field.
• Strong CS fundamentals and algorithms knowledge.
• 7+ years in distributed systems and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud-based Java micro-services on AWS and maintain the Ezypay platform.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers, Team Leads and CTO to plan, develop, test, and document software.
• Identify and remediate defects; conduct runtime maintenance per standards.
• Suggest continuous improvement for product delivery and mentor engineers.
