Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced EIA Consultant registered with the Department of Environment Malaysia (DOE) with at least seven years of experience. You will head the Environmental Division, supervise the team, and support projects across ASEAN countries including Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.

You will review EIA, EMP and BIP reports for DOE submission, ensure compliance with Malaysian environmental regulations, and lead field investigations with the

Qualifications

• DOE EIA Consultant registration with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong technical background in environmental issues.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia with good writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Head the Environmental Division and supervise the team members.
• Support for projects in ASEAN countries (Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Philippines).
• Review environmental reports such as EIA, EMP, BIP for DOE submission.
• Familiar with environmental regulations and requirements of the DOE in Malaysia.
• Conduct field work with project team for site investigations and monitoring; execute studies.
• Liaise with project proponents and government agencies to prepare reports.
• Present report findings at technical meetings to obtain necessary approvals.
