Job summary

AGV Environment Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and registered EIA Consultant with the Department of Environment Malaysia to lead the Environmental Division and supervise the team.

The role includes reviewing EIA/EMP/BIP reports, overseeing field investigations, and coordinating with project proponents and government agencies across ASEAN countries.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be registered with DOE as EIA Consultant with minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Strong technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in environmental issues.
• Must be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia with good writing skills in both languages.
• Bachelor's degree in science-related field; postgraduate degree advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Head the Environmental Division and supervise the team members.
• Review environmental reports such as EIA, EMP, BIP and other related reports for submission to the Department of Environmental Malaysia.
• Conduct required field work with the project team for environmental site investigations and baseline environmental monitoring.
• Liaise with the project proponent and government agencies in the course of conducting the studies to prepare the relevant environmental reports.
• Present report findings at technical meetings to obtain the necessary approvals from government regulatory agencies or private sector clients.
• Support for projects in ASEAN country (Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Philippines)

Job Scope:

Support for project in ASEAN country (Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Philippines)

Strong technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in environmental issues.

To review environmental reports such as EIA, EMP, BIP and other related reports for submission to Department of Environmental Malaysia.

Must be familiar with environmental regulations and requirements of the Department of Environment in Malaysia.

To conduct required field work with the project team for environmental site investigations and baseline environmental monitoring, and work as a team to execute environmental studies.

To liaise with the project proponent and government agencies in the course of conducting the studies to prepare the relevant environmental reports.

To present report findings at technical meetings to obtain the necessary approvals either from government regulatory agencies or private sector clients.

Requirements

Candidates must be registered with DOE as EIA Consultant with minimum of 7 years of experience.

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in any science-related field, a postgraduate degree in the relevant field is advantageous.
