Job summary

ERM in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Consultant to lead and manage EIA/ESIA studies, conduct baseline surveys, and provide technical expertise for medium to large capital projects across APAC. DOE accreditation and 5–9 years of experience are essential, with fluency in English and strong reporting skills.

The role involves environmental planning, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and data analytics, with extensive collaboration across ERM’s global teams and project sites in Asia-Pacific.

Qualifications

• DOE accreditation is required.
• 5–9 years of experience in EIA/ESIA.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead baseline biodiversity surveys and EIA/ESIA studies across APAC.
• Ensure compliance with national and international standards.
• Develop Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP).
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and client stakeholders.
• Carry out data analytics and GIS support for impact assessment.
