Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an Endpoint Security Subject Matter Expert in Malaysia who will lead enterprise‑grade endpoint protection deployments and optimization. You will work with Defender XDR and Defender for Cloud, implement Intune governance, and manage policy enforcement across hybrid environments.

You will collaborate with SOC, Cloud Security, Identity, and Infrastructure teams to resolve incidents, tune security configurations, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in endpoint security, Microsoft endpoint platforms, or XDR security operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, configuration, and optimization of Defender XDR and Defender for Cloud across endpoints.
• Administer Defender for Cloud posture management and hybrid workloads.
• Manage ThreatLocker or equivalent application-control platforms and policy enforcement.
• Implement endpoint governance using Intune, including configuration profiles and security baselines.
• Integrate Entra ID for secure authentication and conditional access.
• Tune GPO and MECM for on‑premises and hybrid Windows endpoints.
• Assist in Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP implementations.
• Support OT/ICS endpoint visibility tools where applicable.
• Monitor alerts and coordinate remediation with SOC, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams.
• Document configurations, baselines, and policy changes for handover.
