Job summary

The GH Patisserie Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on Outlet Supervisor in Johor Bahru to oversee daily operations, lead a service team, ensure SOPs and hygiene standards, and drive sales targets.

The role requires 2–3 years in F&B and at least 1 year in a supervisory position, with strong English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia skills. Responsibilities include opening/closing shifts, staff coaching, customer issue resolution, and accurate cash handling.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in F&B, preferably café, bakery, patisserie or restaurant.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle customer complaints professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, guide and motivate a team.
• Good communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Able to manage daily operations and remain calm during busy periods.
• Familiarity with food hygiene, cleanliness and workplace safety standards.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia; fluency in all three is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outlet operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure opening, closing and shift handover procedures are followed.
• Ensure staff follow SOPs, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Supervise and coordinate service crew during daily operations.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality and performance.
• Address routine staff issues and escalate serious matters.
• Provide friendly, attentive, professional customer service.
• Assist in achieving outlet sales targets and upsell menu items.
• Maintain displays and presentation per company standards.
• Support promotional activities and new product launches.
• Manage POS transactions, cash handling and daily cash reconciliation.
