Job summary

Cochlear Malaysia SDN BHD. (Malaysia) is seeking a Lead Specialist Customer Software V&V Engineer to design, develop, and deliver advanced test automation and validation solutions for customer software products.

You will combine software testing, quality engineering, and AI-enabled development across regulated environments to improve product quality and delivery speed. Responsibilities include building scalable automation, establishing verification strategies, and supporting automated/manual

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or IT, or related field.
8–12 years in software engineering, software testing, V&V or test automation; 5+ years leading automation.
Strong programming in Python and TypeScript/Node.js with quick learning ability.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks and testing tools.
Establish and execute test strategies ensuring verification, validation and regulatory compliance.
Design and implement AI-enabled engineering solutions to boost productivity while preserving quality.
Troubleshoot across Windows, macOS, Linux, containers, VMs and CI/CD environments.
