Job summary

Cochlear is seeking a Senior Verification and Validation Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to lead V&V activities for consumer-facing systems. You will define robust test methods, supervise automated and manual testing, and deliver high-quality test artifacts within project timelines.

You will collaborate with design, project management and quality teams, mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with QMS and regulatory standards. Strong English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a commercial R&D environment delivering consumer-facing systems or products.
• Clear verbal and presentation-based technical communication, including excellent English proficiency.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ with debugging capability.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead V&V test methods, coverage and evidence for complex projects.
• Execute automated and manual tests; produce high-quality artifacts and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines.
• Mentor V&V team members and contribute to QMS compliance.
