Job summary
Dyson GmbH in Malaysia is seeking a Senior/Lead Acoustics & Vibration Engineer to own the acoustics and vibration performance across the product development lifecycle. Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics or similar.
- Experience in product development with analytical focus.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and failure analysis.
Responsibilities
- Own acoustics and vibration performance across development cycles.
- Define acoustics requirements and validation strategies.
- Apply Dyson methodologies to deliver on time, on spec, on cost, and on quality.
- Develop experimental and/or simulation approaches (testing, FEA/CFD, modelling).
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early for robust delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acoustic solutions into designs.
- Communicate findings through data-driven insights and reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to tooling improvements.
