Dyson Institute in Malaysia seeks a senior technical leader to shape robust designs and engineering standards for digital motors and battery management systems, leading power electronics across multiple projects and product categories.

You will define platform architecture, drive design reviews, mentor engineers, collaborate with global teams, and ensure safety, reliability, and manufacturability while advancing Dyson's innovation culture.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with significant product development experience.
7+ years in electronic design, power electronics or high-performance hardware environments.
Strong expertise in Battery Management Systems and secondary battery technologies.
Experience designing power electronics products such as motor drives, inverters, SMPS, chargers.

Responsibilities

Define, develop and promote platform architecture and design standards for power electronics.
Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and validation strategy across multiple projects and product categories.
Collaborate with ODM/JDM/OEM suppliers, suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
Mentor engineers, drive engineering discipline, and promote best practices across SEA and global locations.
