Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in animation or related field.
• Proven animation experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Maya, Blender or similar software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent time-management and organization.
• Knowledge of Python or MEL scripting is a plus.
• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of animators, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Oversee the creation of high-quality animations for games, films, and marketing materials.
• Develop and maintain animation pipelines and workflows.
• Collaborate with modeling, rigging, and production to ensure cohesive animation.
• Review work for consistency and quality.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
• Manage recruitment and training of new team members.
• Ensure animations are optimized for performance and meet technical requirements.
• Coordinate with external vendors and freelancers as needed.
