Job summary

Passion Republic is seeking a skilled 3D designer/lead in Malaysia to drive high-quality character, environment, and mechanical designs. You will collaborate across departments, mentor teammates, and lead a small team to deliver projects on time and to spec.

The role emphasizes clear communication, alignment with company vision, and active participation in production pipelines. Strong experience with Blender or other 3D tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of working experience in the relevant industry.
• Clear and constructive communication.
• Capable of taking care of a small group of teammates (cross-department, motivation, result/quality, health).
• Understand and align with the company's vision.
• Bonus: Blender knowledge or solid 3D software proficiency.
• Basic understanding of game production pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks on time and on quality; set benchmarks for internal teammates and pitching for external counterpart.
• Participate in project and team meetings/discussions.
• Mentor juniors/teammates with accumulated experience.
• Lead by example, willing to give and receive feedback.
• Able to lead a team of approximately 3 with balanced composition.
• Mentor candidates in recruitment processes.
• Represent the company in client communications.
