Job summary

Fengshi Metal Technology in Penang is seeking an experienced Laser Cut Machine Operator Supervisor to lead daily production, operate laser cutting equipment, and ensure parts meet specifications.

You will read engineering drawings, adjust machine parameters, provide on-the-job training, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and quality standards. Overtime and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in Laser Cut machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Good leadership and the ability to train and supervise a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor Laser Cut machines according to production schedules and work instructions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specs and material requirements.
• Perform machine setup, material loading, tooling selection and parameter adjustments.
• Ensure laser-cut parts meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Lead, guide and supervise Laser Cut Operators and junior team members.
• Provide on-the-job training to new and existing employees.
• Monitor performance, production targets and maintain safety and housekeeping.
• Investigate issues and report major problems to Supervisor or Maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
