Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and lead system technicians on the production floor.
• Oversee laser system operations including subassembly, alignment, and testing.
• Plan and prioritize production schedules to meet orders and deadlines.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Ensure safety regulations and ISO standards are followed.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and drive process improvements.
• Train and develop team members in laser build/repairs and quality.
• Inspect materials and finished products for adherence to specs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Maintenance on development.
• Maintain production records and report metrics like quality and downtime.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Manage inventory of materials and finished goods related to laser ops.
• Address personnel issues including timekeeping, performance reviews, and discipline.
