Menta Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our Ranau, Sabah team. This full‑time role focuses on precise land and site surveys to meet project specifications, working closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates hold a degree/diploma in surveying or geomatics with 3–5 years of hands‑on experience, and are proficient with GPS, theodolites, levels, and total stations. Strong communication and a collaborative mindset are essential.

About the role

Menta Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Land Surveyor to join our team in Ranau, Sabah. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and surveys of land and construction sites, ensuring that all project specifications are met with accuracy and professionalism. This role is essential to maintaining the quality and integrity of our construction operations, and you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.

Key Responsiblities

• Make exact measurements and determine property boundaries, proper road alignment, proper slope cutting and filling
• To set up benchmark and control stations at site
• To control level and monitoring dipping works for sub grade sand backfill, road base and premix
• Deal with contractor survey and inspections

What we're looking for

• Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Degree in Science/Engineering (Geomatics)
• Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience in land surveying and site surveys
• Strong knowledge of surveying instruments including GPS, theodolites, levels and total stations
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate measurements and documentation
• Solid understanding of construction practices and project management principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams
