UMECH CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD seeks a senior surveyor to lead and coordinate surveys for project sites, ensuring data supports design and construction goals. You will establish datum levels, perform set-outs for bridges, roads, and piles, and oversee calibration of survey equipment to maintain accuracy.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Surveying with 6+ years of land/construction surveying experience, and knowledge of Malaysian laws and standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Professional surveying qualification or licensure as required by Malaysian regulatory bodies.
• Minimum 6 years of practical experience in land surveying and construction surveying.
• Proficiency in surveying software and tools, including total stations, GPS/GNSS, and CAD.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian land and property laws, building regulations, and surveying standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Strong communication skills to work with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Preferred experience in infrastructure, civil construction, or large-scale projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead, supervise and coordinate surveys team for project sites.

• Ensure surveys comply with local zoning laws, property regulations, and environmental regulations.
• Track and monitor equipment calibration to maintain accuracy and reliability.
• Carry out surveying works for bridge construction, including substructure, structure and superstructure setup.
• Perform set-out works for pile caps, columns, crossheads, plinths and deck slabs.
• Establish and maintain datum levels for every pier for accuracy.
• Conduct set-out for piling works including pile caps for new and widened bridges.
• Perform alignment setting out for road widening projects.
• Carry out set-out of micropiles and raked piles per design drawings.
• Ensure survey equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Execute set-out works for plinths and deck slabs with precise level control.
• Set out drain alignments and levels for proper flow and design compliance.
• Prepare and maintain survey records, as-built drawings, and reports.
• Provide precise land data for site planning and design.
• Detect risks or discrepancies in survey tasks and offer solutions.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to align survey data with project objectives.
• Perform site survey and setting out to facilitate construction works.
• Monitor project progress and report status to management.

Track and monitor equipment calibration to maintain accuracy and reliability in compliance with asset management standards.

Carry out surveying works for bridge construction, including substructure, structure, and superstructure setup.

Perform set-out works for pile caps, columns, crossheads, plinths, and deck slabs.

Establish and maintain datum levels for every pier to ensure accuracy in vertical and horizontal control.

Conduct set-out for piling works, including pile caps for new and widening of existing bridges.

Perform alignment setting out for road widening projects.

Carry out set-out of micropiles and raked piles in accordance with design drawings and specifications.

Ensure survey equipment is calibrated and maintained in good working condition.

Execute set-out works for plinths and deck slabs with precise level control.

Set out drain alignments and levels for proper flow and compliance with design.

Prepare and maintain survey records, as-built drawings, and reports.

Provide precise land data for site planning and design, identifying potential complications that may impact construction or project development.

Detect risks or discrepancies in survey tasks and proactively offer solutions for accurate data acquisition.

Coordinate with and provide support to architects, engineers, and construction teams to align survey data with project objectives.

Perform site survey and setting out the facilitate construction works.

Monitor project progress and report status to management.

Requirement :

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

Professional surveying qualification or licensure as required by Malaysian regulatory bodies (such as membership with Board of Surveyors Malaysia)

Minimum 6 years of practical experience in land surveying and construction surveying

Proficiency in surveying software and tools, including total stations, GPS/GNSS technology, and CAD applications

Strong knowledge of Malaysian land and property laws, building regulations, and surveying standards

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams

Preferred experience in infrastructure, civil construction, or large-scale development projects
