Job summary

Executive Compass in Malaysia seeks an experienced Laboratory Engineer to conduct and coordinate lab testing and analysis, supporting urgent production and customer testing requests. You will perform failure analysis to identify root causes and qualify lab equipment, while improving methods and processes.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and training technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory testing, failure analysis, or semiconductor/PCB manufacturing.
• Experience in analytical and reliability testing is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SPC, MSA, DOE, and statistical tools.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
