Job summary

C&F Enterprise Sdn Bhd is seeking a microbiology lab professional in Sabah with 5–10 years of experience to manage receiving, labeling and safe storage of samples, and to perform required tests and report findings. The role emphasizes data recording, communication of results, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment, organizing samples, and staying current with scientific advances, within a fast-growing FMCG environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of microbiology laboratory experience.
• Experience receiving, labeling and safely storing samples.
• Ability to determine tests required and to produce analysis reports.
• Record tests and analyses and report results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label and safely store samples from raw materials to finished products.
• Determine and perform required tests and additional matrices as needed.
• Record and report test results clearly and accurately.
• Respond to questions about results from stakeholders.
• Maintain and organize samples ensuring safety and integrity.
• Clean and recalibrate lab equipment; maintain equipment records.
• Keep daily work logs and stay updated on advances in the field.

Job description

Having 5-10 years experience in microbe lab.

Receiving, labelling and safely storing samples (supply chain; from raw materials to finished products and environmental) to be tested

Determining and performing tests needed or any additional test matrix required for the analysis and report

Recording tests and analyses and then reporting the results

Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results

Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample

Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment

Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs

Staying current on technical and scientific advances in their field
