Job summary

Aquaspersions (M) Sdn Bhd invites qualified candidates to join our team as a Laboratory Technician. You will perform in-process inspections, lab testing, and shop-floor QC inspections to ensure products meet specifications, and you will also carry out final process inspections.

You will maintain lab cleanliness, manage data and test results in the Sage system, check incoming raw material COAs, and support the Quality & Environment Manager on shelf-life extensions.

Responsibilities

• In-process inspection and lab testing based on correct method and specification.
• Final process inspection.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lab and proper housekeeping.

Job description

To perform the following based on product specifications so that customers’ requirements are met:

· To conduct in process inspection, including lab testing & shop-floor QC inspection, based on the correct method and specification.

· To conduct final process inspection.

· To maintain cleanliness of the lab through proper housekeeping practices.

· To maintain relevant data, documentation and test results in an easily readable and retrievable manner.

· To ensure retained samples are kept in an easily retrievable manner for minimum 6 months. To dispose the content of retain in an appropriate manner and recycle the container for further use.

· To maintain lab testing and mixing equipment and instruments in good operating condition in accordance to approved procedures.

· To perform internal calibration/ checking as per the periodic calibration schedule for all inspection, measuring and test equipment.

· Ensuring appropriate standards of hygiene and high standards of safety are met in all work carried out by wearing proper personal protective equipment.

· To carry out the effluent testing and ensure the effluent water comply Standard A for discharge purposes.

· To record and key in QC results in Sage system.

· To perform checks on incoming raw material Certificate of Analysis.

· To assist the Quality & Environment Manager on raw material shelf-life extension
