Job summary

Quasi-S Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Laboratory Technician to assist engineers and carry out hands-on operations including Cross-section, SEM/EDX, and Dye & Pry processes. You will prepare test samples, record data, and maintain lab cleanliness, while adhering to 5S practices and working independently.

The ideal candidate holds a SPM or Diploma in Engineering or Science with at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Material Science), Science and Technology or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.
• Preferably Non-Executive specializing in Science & Technology / Laboratory operations or equivalent.
• Experiences in Physical Failure Analysis are added advantages, especially on SEM/EDX, Mechanical cross-section, FTIR, CSAM, X-ray.
• Good communication skill and well versed in basic Microsoft Office applications.
