Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Open Systems Application Support Engineer to join the Cards Technology team in Malaysia. You will provide L3 support for critical Cards applications, including 3DS and Rewards platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and delivery.

You will develop and enhance Java applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate, analyze production incidents, and participate in SDLC activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in application development and production support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate / JPA.
• Experience supporting mission-critical applications in an Open Systems environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services industry.
• Exposure to Cards and Payments systems.
• Understanding of transaction processing and production support.
• Good understanding of SDLC methodologies and software delivery practices.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 production support for Cards applications, including 3DS and Rewards platforms.
• Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Monitor application performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support deployments, releases, and post-implementation activities.
• Collaborate with business users, QA, infrastructure teams, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Participate in the full SDLC from analysis to support.
• Ensure compliance with change and release management procedures.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Provide after-hours support for critical production incidents.
