Job summary

Worklane GmbH in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Associate Manager, Supply Chain Finance COE to lead the development of the KL-based COE while handling day-to-day operations accounting. You will oversee month-end close, cost and inventory accounting, and financial reporting, partnering with Supply Chain Finance Business Partners to deliver timely results and drive process improvements.

This hands-on role combines leadership with execution, enabling standardization, automation, and governance across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline; CPA/CA preferred.
• 7–10 years in operations accounting, cost accounting or financial reporting in a multinational.
• Experience in manufacturing with inventory accounting and standard costing.
• Experience leading a finance team with ability to develop people and foster a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and prepare timely, accurate financial reporting for manufacturing and distribution entities.
• Manage cost accounting, inventory accounting, product costing and variance analysis.
• Standardize processes, drive automation and governance across the COE.
• Partner with Finance Business Partners to improve end-to-end processes and performance.
• Develop and mentor the KL-based Operations Accounting team within the COE.
