Job summary

Huckleberry Hospitality Group is seeking a passionate Kitchen Helper to support kitchen operations across brunch, café, bakery, and retail items. You will assist in preparing recipes, mise en place, and stock handling while upholding food quality and guest satisfaction.

You will work with Chefs de Partie and Head Chefs to ensure smooth service, maintain hygiene, and follow HACCP procedures. Fresh graduates are welcome, with shifts including weekends and holidays across multiple outlets in Kuala

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent is required.
• Culinary certification is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous kitchen experience in café/restaurant is preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and teamwork are important.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to Huckleberry recipes and standards.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, garnishes, and mise en place for daily operations.
• Support the production of breakfast, brunch, lunch, retail, and catering items.
• Ensure food presentation meets Huckleberry quality standards.
• Assist with packing and preparation of takeaway, delivery, and catering orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times.
• Follow all food safety, HACCP, and hygiene procedures.
• Assist with receiving, storing, labeling, and rotating stock using FIFO practices.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
• Support opening and closing kitchen duties.
• Work closely with Chefs de Partie, Sous Chefs, and Head Chefs to ensure smooth service operations.
• Follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently during busy service periods.
• Participate in training and continuously improve culinary skills.
• Contribute positively to the team culture and maintain professional conduct.

Key Responsibilities
