Job summary

EATING POINT SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated kitchen assistant in Kuching to support food preparation and maintain a clean, organized workspace. You will follow recipes, help manage inventory, and assist during busy service periods to ensure timely meals for customers.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness and stamina for standing and heavy items.
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Reliability and punctuality with consistent attendance.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and organising ingredients according to recipes and instructions by the Management.
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Managing inventory and restocking kitchen supplies as required
• Assisting with food storage, rotation, and proper handling of ingredients
• Supporting the team during busy service periods to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
• Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment
