Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring entry-level staff for roles in our dining service. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and candidates with 1 year of F&B experience will be prioritized. Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an advantage.

We offer training, overtime pay and allowances, and a collaborative team environment. Weekend and public holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess at least SPM.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in F&B, restaurants or hotels, preferably at least 1 year, is prioritized.
• Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin would be an advantage, and can collaborate with all levels of staff.
• Friendly, flexible, and open-minded with good communication skills.
• Able to adapt to changes in work schedules, work on weekends, and public holidays.
• Training, overtime pay, and allowances will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dishes are arranged, prepared, and stored correctly to guarantee quality.
• Organize orders and plan to ensure speed and accuracy (no missing dishes, repetitions, or delivery to the wrong table).
• Keep plates and bowls clean and intact.
• Maintain the work area to be clean and organized, and replenish vegetables and water at the appropriate times.
• Handle urgent requests or add dishes flexibly and accurately from the servers, and inform them about today's specials and dishes that are sold out.
• Collaborate and assist fellow staff members.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Follow Halal JAKIM's procedures.
