Job summary

Auxo Talent is seeking a responsible Junior Site Supervisor (Civil & Structural) to oversee daily construction activities at site-based projects in Malaysia. The role requires reading drawings, coordinating contractors, and ensuring safety and quality on civil and structural works.

You will monitor progress, prepare reports, and liaise with project teams while adhering to schedules and project specifications. Willingness to work on Saturdays and travel to sites is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in site supervision within the construction industry.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of construction site activities, quality control and safety practices.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently at site.
• Willing to work on Saturday
• Willing to travel to project sites when necessary.
• Working arrangement: Site-based with 6 full days work

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors and site workers to ensure smooth site operations.
• Monitor construction progress, workmanship and quality of civil and structural works.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify any construction defects or discrepancies.
• Ensure materials, equipment and manpower are properly coordinated and utilised.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors and consultants on site-related matters.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates and other relevant documentation.
• Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and project requirements.
• Assist in resolving technical and operational issues encountered on site.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
