Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an on-site Construction Support/Junior Site Engineer to assist supervising daily structural construction activities and ensure work adheres to drawings, specs, and codes. You will coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to keep projects on track and report progress to the Site Manager.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management, with 0–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in construction or structural works; fresh graduates are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily structural construction activities on-site.
• Monitor site work for compliance with drawings, specs, and building codes.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, site workers and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction defects or non-conformities.
• Ensure materials used on-site meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor work progress and report updates to the Site Manager.
• Attend site meetings and communicate project requirements to site personnel.
• Assist in resolving site-related technical issues under the guidance of senior site supervisor.
• Maintain site records, documentation and inspection reports.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safe working conditions on-site.
